- Qubitro has a free tier suitable for prototyping and small projects. It is aimed at evaluation and early development rather than being a dedicated education programme, so for classroom use Ubidots STEM may fit better.
- How do the pricing models differ?
- Ubidots combines device count with data credits, so the bill reflects how much data you send as well as how many devices you have. Qubitro prices per device from $2 per device per month. For chatty devices the per-device model is usually simpler to predict; for very sparse fleets credit-based pricing can be cheaper.
- Can I migrate dashboards from Ubidots to Qubitro?
- Not automatically — dashboards are rebuilt rather than imported. In practice most of that work disappears if your devices are in Qubitro's template library, because a starter dashboard already exists. Historical data can be exported from Ubidots and loaded into Qubitro.
